Plank Styles

UNI (Unidirectional)

UNI (short for unidirectional) refers to the simplest installation method, where the planks are laid in parallel rows in the same direction, creating a clean and uniform look.

FJL (Finger Jointed Lamella)

FJL is a type of engineered hardwood flooring where the top layer (lamella)is made of finger-jointed pieces of hardwood. This method allows for the use of smaller pieces of wood to create the top layer of flooring, offering a cost-effective alternative while maintaining the appearance of solid wood.

FJ (Finger Joint)

Finger jointing refers to a method where short pieces of wood are joined together end-to-end using interlocking "fingers" to form longer lengths. This method is employed to maximize the use of wide but short wooden pieces.

Chevron

Chevron flooring consists of planks cut at an angle (typically 45° or 60°) onthe ends, which are then laid in a V pattern. This creates a visually striking, zigzag pattern that adds a sense of movement and style to the floor.

Herringbone

Herringbone is another pattern where rectangular planks are laid in a staggered zigzag design, but unlike Chevron, the ends of the planks are straight, creating a more traditional and intricate visual effect.
